This is why you need CRM

This post is the offspring of the story of how my bank relieved me of my money. So basically after once again everything seemed to be in order, the call center folks had the audacity to try to sell me a new credit card.

Stupid 1: Can I help you with anything else?

me: Nope, I’m good.

Stupid 1: OK, in that case here’s this and that credit card offer. Are you interested?

me: Uhm, it’s not that bad, okay, tell me more.

Stupid 1: Actually I can’t, and the colleagues who could are all busy, we’ll call you back in 5 minutes.

Fast forward about an hour instead of the aforementioned 5 minutes.

Stupid 2: Good morning, I’m calling because of this and that credit card.

me: OK, tell me more about it.

Stupid 2: All right, our expert will be in touch shortly, please don’t hang up.

me: (waiting, listening to stupid music)

Stupid 3: Good morning, how can I help you?

me: Nothing really, you just keep baiting me with some new offer but none of you is able to tell anything more.

Stupid 3: Uh… OK… Let me see… Well I can’t really see your information on file. Can we call you back in a minute?

me: Yeah, go ahead.

Fast forward about a day instead of the aforementioned minute. Phone rings, I don’t pick it up. Buy some CRM, or better yet, stop harassing people, thanks.
